Writers Workshops & Master Classes

Private or corporate writers workshops are offered to developing writers seeking a professional, critical and encouraging atmosphere.  Workshops are run on a fortnightly master class basis and those seeking to enrol should have had work assessed by a recognised assessment agency. 

All workshops are limited to a maximum of six writers and run for up to three hours. All adult fiction and non-fiction genres are welcome.

Seminars

Getting published

A three-hour seminar designed to open new avenues to writers seeking to achieve professional writer status.

Some of the areas explored include: adopting a professional attitude to your work, how to approach publishers and agents, researching new markets and developing your work standards. 

Seminars are offered to industry groups and organisations such as writers' centres. 

Comprehensive course notes and useful industry references are included for all participants.

One-hour lecture

One-hour lecture sessions, either individually or as a series, are offered in many areas of the professional writing field. Topics may include interviewing techniques, oral presentation, analysis vs description, copyright and plagiarism, writing forms, editing basics, and business writing, among others. 

Lectures can also be custom-designed for your particular study group.

Lectured are offered to study groups, corporations, colleges and universities, and any organisation seeking to learn more about the techniques of professional writing.
